Florida is a vacationer’s paradise. Where else can you find so many beaches,
great weather and theme parks packed into one place. In at least one way it makes little difference when you visit: warm
sunshine and blue skies are almost always a fact of life. Florida does, however,
split into two climatic zones: subtropical in the south and warm
temperate in the north. Orlando and points south have very mild winters (October
to April), with warm temperatures and low humidity.
Brochure images of tanning flesh and Mickey Mouse give an inaccurate and
incomplete picture of
FLORIDA . Although the aptly nicknamed "Sunshine
State" is indeed devoted to the tourist trade, it's also among the
least-understood parts of the US. Away from its overexposed resorts lie forests
and rivers, deserted strands filled with wildlife, vibrant cities and primeval
swamps.
In many respects Florida is still evolving. Seven hundred people a day move
to the state, now the fourth most populous in the nation.

Jacksonville or J-Ville is dubbed as “Where Florida Begins”. Key West is known as the Southernmost City.
Miami is nicknamed as the “Magic City”. Orlando is widely known as “The Imaginary City”.
Tallahassee is popularly dubbed as “Tally-Ho” or “The Hill” and Tampa is

The state is also home to the Kennedy Space Center. St. Augustine,

Florida is surprisingly compact, and easy to get around by car: crossing
between the east and west coasts takes a couple of hours, and one of the longest

In central Florida the terrain turns green, though it's no rural
idyll: this is where you'll find Orlando and Walt Disney World,
one of the world's leading tourist destinations. From here it's just a skip
north to the forests of the
Panhandle , Florida's link with the Deep
South, or to the towns and beaches of the
west coast . To the south, and
also easily accessible from Miami, stretches the
Everglades , a swampy
sawgrass plain filled with camera-friendly (but otherwise unfriendly)
alligators.
Beaches make up over a thousand miles of Florida’s coastline and one of the best,
in fact the very best in the US, is in
St Pete’s - the seven miles of North Beach.
It was nominated the
best beach in the nation in 2005.
Florida is well known for its
family-friendly hotels but you can choose to stay in a regular home.

Naples Beach is the most exciting beach front we have ever been to with hundreds of different birds, dozens of pelicans diving for fish and a sea full of dolphins, rays and exotic fish. It's also a beautiful, empty, sandy beach.
Naples Beach and the Naples Beach Hotel and Golf Club is one of the most beautiful places to stay in Florida. The hotel is right on the beach and we have just returned from Christmas there with Virgin Hols
Anna Maria Island is lovely. It's the old-fashioned Florida, laid-back and relaxing. It's paradise and I can't wait to go back. The sand is blinding, icing sugar white. There are loads of seabirds, fish and dolphins.
The food at Rotten Ralphs is great, set out in a Marina where the dolphins come up to play.
There are also the most amazing sunsets. It's bliss!! Anna Marie Island is an island to explore with completely perfect surroundings.
The blue sky, white sands and amazing sunsets an experience you won't forget!
Visit
Cocoa beach if you like surfing, it's great fun for every one.
If you are going to Florida we definetly recommend swimming with the dolphins at
Discovery Cove: it is worth every penny.
If you are in desperate need of a great vacation, then
come and visit Florida. Florida has it all, great weather, beautiful beaches and
super fun
family and
honeymoon resorts. It is our favourite place in the world, there is so much to see and do and it is for all ages.
