There are lots of ways to get discounts at Disneyland and Disney World on the resort hotels and vacation packages. You can also save substantial money on admission passes, meals, extra entertainment offerings, airfare, rental cars and more. Spend some time exploring this site, and you may be amazed at how many Disney bargains and deals are floating around.
If you're planning a trip to Disneyland in California, you have a lot of airport options. The closest is Orange County (John Wayne Airport) (SNA), followed by Long Beach (LGB), Ontario (ONT), Los Angeles (LAX) and Burbank (BUR). Those who will also be visiting San Diego may even consider that airport (SAN), which is about 1.5 hours south of Disneyland.
Because of its popularity, traveling to the Los Angeles area to visit Disneyland is easy. Flights are available day or night to any of the local airports.

  John Wayne Airport
City: Irvine, CA Airport Code: SNA
The most convenient airport to land at for visiting Disneyland is John Wayne Airport. Airport shuttles are available to and from the Disneyland area and it's even close enough for taking a cab. If you'll be renting a car, some car rental companies are located at the airport.

Click here to find out what airlines fly from your local airport. Finding a discount on your airfare can be a real challenge, but with the right tools and some know-how, you can often save hundreds of dollars.
When are the cheapest airfares available? We have to say, it's pretty random. Being persistent really pays off. However, to the extent that we've noticed a pattern, it seems that the lowest airfares are available approximately 6 months in advance and again 2 months in advance. Whatever you do, avoid booking within 14 days of your trip, or worse yet, within 7 days. That's when the prices skyrocket.
If you're searching for airline tickets, hotels, rental cars or vacation packages, look no further than Travelnow.com. When you shop online with us, you always find Web-only specials from our airline, hotel and car-rental partners. TravelNow was also the first Internet travel site to provide consumers with the capability to initiate a wireless hotel reservation. They began selling airline tickets, hotels and rental cars online in 1995
To find discounted Disneyland hotels or cheapest airfares just fill out the form below. After you enter this basic information, you will be taken to another screen to enter specific data on what you desire. From the main screen, travelnow.com has an area with featured special hotel offers that change periodically. These special offers are quoted as a rate per day. You can click on any one of them, for more specific information.

[13.11.2008] when are the least crowded times of the year in disney...
Beginning of May isn't too bad either, but the end of September beginning of October is awesome! It's considered one of Disney's least crowded times. May is considered Average attendance. Other great times to visit are the 2nd week of January through the 1st week of February and anytime the week after Labor Day until Thanksgiving and the week after Thanksgiving through the week before Christmas for the least crowded times. The week after Thanksgiving through the week before Christmas are awesome because you are able to see all the beautiful decorations without the crowds! My favorite resort is the Yacht and Beach Club. It's a short walk to Epcot and a quick boat ride away from MGM. It also has a beautiful 3 acre sand bottom pool. But it is a deluxe resort and can be expensive. My favorite moderate resort is the Port Orleans Riverside.
[20.10.2008] Disney's Davy Crockett Ranch
We just returned a few days ago from the Davy Crockett Ranch, and we absolutely enjoyed our stay. We booked a 2-bedroom cabin on the disneyland paris website since there were 4 of us staying (3 adults, 1 child age 5) in one cabin. All in all I really loved this place and I will defintely return here. It's a great place for young and old alike! Lots of fun for everyone.

Disneyland in Anaheim really is the most magical place on earth. It doesn't matter how old you are, there is always something going on that will entrance you. We gave ourselves 3 days to experience Disneyland and California Adventure, so we split the time between the two.Next time I would allow 5 days!We also arrived late September and found that to be a great timeto visit the parks, because there were virtually NO queues. Yay.We saw and did most things but I reckon we still missed a lot of things happening on the sidelines. The new rides at California Adventure are amazing. Our 9 yr old kept up with us and did everything too.Food was very expensive and the advertised price then had TAX added to it, after you had selected. We stayed at the Howard Johnson which couldn't be more convenient - 5 minutes walk.

Had a wonderful time at Disneyland this past May. Was there open to close-and not one bit bored. Excellent value! It seemed super crowded, but I was surprised that most rides we just walked up, waited for maybe 30 seconds and got right on! Except for the Finding Nemo ride-which was about 30 mins. We went on a Wednesday in Mid-May-so it may be different during other dates. The food is way over-priced, but what do you expect? I had an enormous DELICIOUS rice krispy treat w/ frosting and sprinkles from a place near the Tea Cups. It was as big as my hand! Wish I could remember the name.Only downside to Disneyland...or perhaps a suggestion would be to install ride/attraction signage/directions w/in the park so people know where they are going rather than staring at some map wasting away precious ride time.

we bought a 3 day pass to disney and had a wonderful time...our 8 year old enjoyed every moment and myself not being a big theme park fan found lots to do other than go on the rides..which i did manage to brave a few and would again.food in disney is nothing special but it did us for the days we were there..we stayed offsite in a disney neighbourhood hotel and were within 15 minutes walking distance to disney!downtown disney was great too my other half loved the ESPN bar.would go again and will truely treasure the memories of a great vacation.
